We made it, citizens! Utopia, once just an abstract concept hiding just beyond the horizon, is now the norm. Disease, famine, poverty, and the myriad frailties of the human body have all been relegated to the history vids. Thanks to advances in human-robotic interfaces, we live longer, jump higher, think faster, and contribute more effectively to the fiduciary prosperity of our fair city.

Of course, there will always be a few “Debbie Downer” outliers who refuse to join the 23rd century and accept commonplace cybernetic implants, or those who fall behind on their requisite payments for said implants. But not to worry! You won’t hear from them for long! See someone “coloring outside the lines”? Just drop a biometric identifier pin at your local Prosperity Assuredness Office, and rest easy knowing you’ve done your part to maintain the commercial success and fungibility of this precious city.

As a reminder, the city has been divided up into nine separate socioeconomic sectors. This helps us all avoid the awkwardness of interacting with anyone who might draw unwanted attention to our own relative abundance or shortcomings. The less you think, the less you worry! So stay in your sector and keep us all blissfully–and financially–partitioned.
